Description

I'm a friendly, honest, and hard-working 30 year-old guy from New Zealand, passionate about travelling and immersing myself in new culture and languages, meeting new people, and meaningful experiences.

I currently live and work with NGOs on an island in Greece, supporting asylum seekers and refugees with projects that foster inclusion, empowerment and dignity through English language learning, skills sharing, and community building .

I have been learning Arabic in the levantine dialect for over a year, and I am now looking to fully immerse myself in an Arabic speaking country to gain further skills and experience . I'm calm and level-headed , yet energetic and flexible to adapt and change to whatever life offers me,

I love meeting new people of all ages, ethnicities and backgrounds- especially genuine, friendly and open-minded people. I like to work with people as part of a team, putting my strong communication, leadership and social skills to good use.

I enjoy good food, cooking and music. Also swimming, fishing, free-diving, scuba diving and anything around the beach or coast.

I'm hoping to use Workaway as a way to meet people and get to know cultures and communities better whilst giving something back with my time, labour and help. I'm clean, respectful, kind, and happy to help with almost anything.
