Description
Hi !
We are two gardening students from Denmark looking for an exciting adventure this September/October. We are currently apprenticing at Pallehavegaard (an organic regenerative farm with vegetable production). Since our internship here ends in September, we are looking for a place where we can stay for a month before we return to school in November.
Beyond our love for working outdoors in all kinds of weather and on a variety of projects, our main experience lies in vegetable production and harvesting. However, we are eager to expand our knowledge of perennials, medicinal plants, and permaculture systems and we would love the opportunity to work with and learn more about them.
A holistic approach to food production and the use of plants in s not something we are taught in school, which is why we hope this exchange will provide us with a deeper understanding and hands-on experience in these areas.
We spend most of our free time in the kitchen baking, fermenting and cooking. We also enjoy exploring new areas and going for hikes, biketrips and overnighters and just spending time in nature in general.Interests

More details about your skills
We both have a background in Environmental Planning and experience working in NGOs but we both felt the need for a more hands-on, meaningful way of engaging with the world—one that brings us closer to nature. We study horticulture/agriculture and have a good all around knowledge about plants, food production, pruning, harvesting and soil care. We know how to manage most small machines and some bigger machines. Furthermore we consider us self pretty handy and are good problem solvers - we can use a saw, drill, dig a whole, drive a car etc. and if we dont know we will find a way. We eat mostly vegan/vegetarian and have a big interest in turning plants into delicious food and in general love spending time in the kitchen cooking and experimenting,
