👋 Hi there! I'm Mayuko 😊
Hello! My name is Mayuko, and I'm from Japan. I'm passionate about learning from nature, tradition, and the diverse lifestyles of people around the world🌍!

I am a calm, open-minded, and responsible person. I like cleaning and keeping things organized, and I’m happy to help create a comfortable and tidy environment.🧹Once I feel comfortable in a place, I enjoy talking more - especially about culture, ways of living, and how people build their homes and communities.

My goal for the trip isn't just to visit, but to make a real connection with people. I want to work alongside you, contributing to a world where nature and all living things can flourish together in harmony.
I just finished workaway in Muonio, Finland, and I’ll be in Kutemajärvi until mid-February.🇫🇮

🌲 My vision & Pherosophy 🌲
My vision is to contribute to a world where humanity, nature, and wildlife can live well together.

As climate change and urbanization advance, countless species of plants and animals are losing their habitats and food sources. This not only diminishes their world, but also increases human-wildlife conflict, sometimes posing a threat to human safety as animals venture into our communities.

In the same way, our own society needs an environment where every unique individual is respected and has the freedom to be their true self. I believe that the way we relate to the natural world is a key to unlocking this. Ultimately, protecting our natural world and embracing human diversity stem from the very same philosophy—a deep commitment to coexistence.

For these reasons, I am deeply curious about the traditional wisdom and approaches to living in balance with the natural world that can be found across various countries and cultures.I am particularly eager to understand the Northern European perspective on the profound connection between people and nature.

Living and studying abroad has taught me to be highly adaptable and has given me a deep respect for all cultures.

• What I Studied in Denmark: At a school called Vrå Højskole, I learned a lot about Photography(analog&digital), Art, and Gardening in the Forest.

💻 My Skills and How I Can Help 💻
I worked for five years in TV production as an Assistant Director and Director in Japan.
I was involved in the TV program about foreign people who live in Japan, and also the TV program about building conversion(building renovation for change of use).
