Hello! My name is Maria and I am 28 years old.
I live in Switzerland and completed my law degree 1.5 years ago. I am currently trying to reconnect with myself, nature, and the world. That's why I'm looking forward to discovering new places and meeting new people on my travels. I already gained some Workaway experience in a meditation center in France, in a kindergarten in Peru and since ocotober 2025 I did 4 workaways in different fincas in Spain (El Pelayo, Pizarra, Zahara de la Sierra, Prado del Rey), where I helped with painting, gardening, looking after dogs, cleaning, baking, looking after kids etc. In addition to Workaway, I have volunteered in the areas of immigration law counseling, finding housing for homeless people, providing day care for asylum-seeking children, tutoring children in math and French, and working in a residential home for people with disabilities. I also regularly rescue food from restaurants and distribute it to people in my community. I speak several languages: German, Swiss German, English, French, and Spanish. I also understand Italian. I have legal experience in social areas such as immigration law, child and adult protection, tenancy law, and labor law. I love dancing salsa, doing yoga, meditating, cross-country skiing, running, and hiking. I am always eager to learn new things and look forward to new experiences.

I enjoy being creative, doing crafts, and making jewelry. I also enjoy being outdoors and living in the moment. I love playing board games and go into nature. I can quickly adapt to new places and have already gained a lot of experience abroad.
