Description
G’Day !
We are Marie and Hieu (27yo), a French couple having their Australian adventure since February 2026.
We let our daily life routine as project manager in corporate social responsability (Marie) and food production field manager (Hieu) behind us to reconnect with basics : living surrounded by nature and trying different handy jobs.
So since the past few months, we’re living in our Toyota 4WD, working as fruit picker & packer, gardener, general hand, housekeeper, farm hand…and we love it ! As these jobs are demanding a lot (long/early shift, outside/dusty environment) we want to take a breath along these travel, and WorkAway experiences are the best fit for that. We started our trip working for a month as gardener/handy helper/painter for a family around Melbourne through WorkAway.
We're a dynamic couple, into outdoor activities, cooking, photography, handy work. We both love kids and animals (we're used to babies/kids/teenagers). Hieu used to work in farms, and is a really good cook. Marie already did volunteering experiences around Asia & Australia (as English teacher for pre-schoolers, social media helper, kids-sitter, house sitter), and has professional experience in cleaning field.
We're definitely motivated to help you through any kind of project/work you need help with.
Hoping to be in touch soon :)
