Description
We are Marie and William, a French couple with strong experience in horse care, farm work and a real passion for travel, nature and cultural exchange. We spent one year travelling across Asia before living and working for two years in Australia, where we worked in a large racehorse stable.
During our two years in Australia, we also travelled around the country in a self-converted 4x4, an incredibly enriching experience that taught us adaptability, independence and appreciation for a simple lifestyle close to nature.
Marie worked as a stable hand, taking care of daily horse care, feeding, grooming, cleaning boxes and riding some retired ones. She has been riding horses since childhood (jumping, dressage, cross country) and is energetic, proactive and always ready to help. She is also a photographer, runs her own photography business in France and has written several travel books. She can help with social media, content creation and online visibility.
William worked as a farm hand, responsible for property maintenance, feeding horses, repairing fences and general farm duties. He is calm, reliable and well-organised, and enjoys physical outdoor work. He speaks English fluently and has a very good level of Spanish, and enjoys cultural exchange. He also enjoys playing chess.
We are both very comfortable with early mornings, physical work and daily routines with animals. We enjoy hiking and spending time in nature, having done many hikes in Patagonia and New Zealand. We love simple living and recently had a similar van-style experience in Patagonia, where we travelled for over five weeks in November. We are easy-going, organised and enjoy community life close to nature.

What else ...
We have been travelling for several years now. Before settling in Australia for two years, we spent one year travelling across Asia. We truly love travelling, discovering new places and especially learning about new cultures and ways of life.
We are very outdoor-oriented and enjoy hiking and spending time in nature. We have done many hikes in Patagonia as well as in New Zealand, which were unforgettable experiences for us.
In terms of personality, we complement each other well: I (Marie) am energetic, proactive and always ready to help or start new projects, while William is calmer, grounded and very thoughtful. We are both very organised and reliable.
We are completely comfortable with early mornings, physical work and daily routines with animals. In Australia we worked long hours, so hard work and responsibility are not an issue for us.
I am passionate about photography and run my own photography business in France, and I have also written several travel books. William enjoys playing chess and is always happy to share a game.
We enjoy simple moments, good conversations and cultural exchange, and we really appreciate community life close to nature.
