Description
Hi! I'm Maria and I'll be 23 in April. I'm a girl from Spain eager to travel and learn about many cultures.
I love to enjoy both the beach and the mountains, whenever I have free time I prefer to go outside with a book or a pair of headphones and be in peace, instead of staying bored at home. However, that doesn't mean that I don't love days spent watching films and staying warm at home too! I love going for walks and also playing sports.
Although I don't play it, football is one of my favourite sports and I like to watch matches, especially if my friends are playing.
But what I enjoy most in the world is spending time with my grandparents.
This is a small and varied summary of what I like in general. But there are many more things that I hope someone will want to know about!Interests

My native languages are Spanish and Catalan, so I can teach these if anyone is interested. Since I was 3 years old I was interested in learning English, so my parents signed me up to a language school. From then on I have always liked learning English, I have the First Certificate and I would like to travel somewhere where I can practise my speaking so that I can be more fluent. That way, when I return to Spain, I can take the Advanced exam. In high school I studied German for two years but I didn't practise it any more, so I only know the basics. And in the pandemic I was interested in learning Italian, so Duolingo helped me :)Skills and knowledge I'd like to share or learn

Since I was very young I have enjoyed spending time with children. Already in kindergarten I fed children who needed help and who were younger than me :)
From the age of 14 I started to look after children. When I was 16 I realised that I could earn some money giving classes and I still do it, I have a lot of fun and they improve a lot.
I've always been a girl with good grades, although at university they've gone down a bit... I'm finishing my degree in psychology, so I can say that I love listening to people even though I'm very independent sometimes.
I consider my best skills to be organising and keeping my spaces clean. I am responsible with everything I do and I like to be efficient, although sometimes I am impulsive (I can say I want to travel somewhere, and by the end of the day I'm there hahaha).
I work in a school taking care of children who have lunch there and we have such a great time together.
I have experience in customer service, as a waitress and, in general, I like to keep the house clean (so I am good at housekeeping). I spent last summer in Ireland working at a B&B and it was the most wonderful experience!Age

I have mentioned almost everything I like to do in the description. The only thing I forgot to say is that I have a lot of fun playing board games like Rummikub, Monopoly, Party and Co, card games, etc.
Also, I really enjoy driving and doing sports wherever I can. Some more information

The time in The Old School House (My Father's House) was a huge knowledge for me: I have learnt so many things from the daily routine to new vocabulary (they taught me new words everyday).… read more
