Description

Hello! My name is María. I’m originally from Argentina but I live in Madrid, Spain. I do some online work, and one of my jobs requires me to be physically present in Madrid. But when I don’t need to go in person, that allows me to travel and stay in different places.

I love nature, animals and peaceful environments. I travel with my indoor cat Bruno, who is friendly and used to travelling with me. I drive my own car, so I am fully independent and able to move around easily.

I have also volunteered in an animal shelter for a couple of years, which gave me experience caring for different kinds of animals and understanding their needs. I speak several languages, which helps me communicate easily with hosts from different countries.

I am also a professional golfer and often travel around Europe for competitions. Through my career I’ve stayed in many hosts’ homes, sometimes taking care of their houses and animals while they were away. This is how I gained experience with house‑sitting, caring for animals, and also helping in my parents’ garden at home, so I’m familiar with looking after outdoor spaces.

I enjoy hiking, exploring natural areas and spending time outdoors. I am responsible, tidy and respectful when staying in someone’s home.
