Description
Above the Atlantic coast of Western Asturias (between Cudillero and Luarca) this is a small organic, permaculture place where we live along with a few chickens, Luke, the dog, and 2 cats. There is always plenty to do and permaculture ideas are welcome.
Any skills are welcome but especially gardening with strimmer experience. We eat a lot of vegetables and good food but are not a vegetarians.
This is a rural location with spectacular views of the ocean and mountains. The beach is 12kms downhill by bike or 5 kms on foot. Public transportation is 4 kms away on the coastal A8 Motorway, ALSA buses or FEVE train in Novellana.Types of help and learning opportunities

This is a spectacular place. The views are incredible everyday, at all hours. We have a nice group of friends and get together to have fun and help out. Any musical skills are much appreciated.
Help
There is a list of morning chores for you, letting the chickens out, checking feed and water, greenhouse watering, etc. We like to work all morning and take the afternoons off after a big lunch around 2:30. Please mention any skills you can bring to this. Gardening knowledge. Strimming is invaluable. Cooking is always welcome.

The accommodations vary. We have a small cottage, house and a caravan with a built on kitchen/living room and bathroom (cold water).
What else ...
Please bring one pair of sturdy pants/jeans, work gloves and work boots. There is an odd assortment of sweaters, t-shirts and pants that you are welcome to use. However, it is always best to bring your own waterproof, comfortable work shoes/boots. Sandals are a good idea to wear in the ocean. This is northern Spain, never too hot and cool in the evenings. Bring your raincoat and bathing suit!
The beaches are varied. Walking in the hills is pretty. The Camino de Santiago goes by our place.A little more information
