¡Hola a todos!

I´m Mareike and I am from Germany. I love travelling and getting to know other people and learning from how they live.
I am not a city person, much more likely to be found somewhere in nature, where I also don´t mind getting my hands dirty. I have done gardening, made firewood, completed small carpentry projects, and also gained experience in customer service.
I absolutely love being surrounded by and taking care of animals. Apart from taking care of farm animals, I also have a lot of experience with horses, be it care taking, groundwork, or riding.

During the past years, I have studied environmental sciences, agriculture, forestry, agroforestry, and water management at university, which is also something that I would like to get more hands-on experience.

I would describe myself as a positive, curious, responsible, and independent person who always tries to learn from life. I love to help, laugh, talk and dream with other people, spend time with animals and make new connections.

I have a lot of experience with horses, I´ve done english and western riding in the past, depending on what the horses are used to, and have also lots of experience with ground work.

I love spending time with all kinds of animals, and spend so far time with horses, dogs, cats, goats, sheep, chicken and geese.

I love being outside, learning new skills, helping wherever I can. I hope to learn many new things, am quite a fast learner and have no problem with getting my hands dirty.
I also really like to cook with fresh food and would love to learn more about growing and harvesting it.

In the past few months I was able to gather a lot of knowledge and experience in farmwork and gardening with seeding, planting, weeding and harvesting at a wwoof place here in Sweden.
