Hi! I’m Madoka from Japan. I love traveling and have visited over 50 countries, which has taught me to adapt easily and connect with people from all over the world. I enjoy trying new things, learning from different cultures, and having fun while working.
I’m passionate about hospitality, love cooking, and enjoy spending time with children. I can help with hostel tasks, cooking meals, bartending, or anything that needs teamwork and energy.
I love joining hostels, farms, or community projects where I can contribute, learn, and share experiences. Traveling and exploring new places is my passion, and I’m always excited to take on new experiences and help out wherever I’m needed.

I lived in the US for 2 years, Canada for 6 years, Australia for 6 months, Spain for 3 months, and Thailand for 2 months. I can speak English without any problems in daily life. I worked in a restaurant in Japan and have about 2 years of experience as a babysitter. I'm good at cooking and cleaning. I also like playing with children.

I was only planning to stay at Monica's house for three weeks, but I felt so comfortable that I ended up staying for seven weeks.
Her siblings, father, and cousins were all so kind to me, and I have some of the best memories of Costa Rica.

Amal and Nina were very friendly and warmly welcomed me.
There is a beach right next to the house and it is surrounded by nature.
Amal cooked very delicious moroccan food everyday.
Nina likes japanese movies and we watched together :)

Madoka stayed with us for three weeks and she was honestly great, she helped out with the kids and also made some lovely Japanese food, and helped with some occasional light cleaning. She was very kind and respectful and just overall a wonderful workaway! We really recommend her!

This wonderful family was my first workaway and it was great. Yolanda was always worrid about me and took me to many places. Jorge also took me to a cafe in the morning and told me some very funny jokes that made me laugh. The children were pure, honest and very good. I promise to come back to Tarragona to see this family again.
