Description
A warm hello from Sandra, Lia (10), and our beloved dog Schnuffi! We live on the beautiful island of Mallorca, just a five-minute walk from the sea, in a vibrant area with charming restaurants, a supermarket, and everything we need. The bustling city of Palma is only a 15-minute bus ride away.
Originally from Germany, I’ve called Mallorca home for the past 15 years. Lia was born here, and Schnuffi, now 11 years old, has been our loyal companion through the years. Even after all this time, I am still in awe of the island’s breathtaking nature—the majestic mountains, the shimmering sea, and the rich diversity that makes this place so special.
We are a calm family, not hyperactive, and enjoy a peaceful way of living. I also need some downtime and moments of quiet to recharge. Lia is usually with me every second week, so our daily rhythm varies depending on whether she is home.
We embrace a conscious and mindful lifestyle. As a yoga teacher, coach, and freelancer, my days are centered around well-being, personal growth, and connection. I practice daily breathwork, meditation, and nervous system regulation exercises, always seeking balance and harmony. We love spending time in nature, whether by the sea or in the tranquility of the mountains.
Fluent in German, English, and Spanish, I enjoy the cultural richness that life here brings. Mallorca is not just where we live—it is truly our home.Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We love welcoming Workawayers into our home and creating meaningful connections. You’ll have the chance to join us for walks in nature, relaxing beach outings, and shared meals where we exchange stories and experiences. We enjoy an open and warm atmosphere where you’ll feel like part of the family.
I’m happy to share my knowledge of yoga, body-centered work, trauma healing, and mindfulness practices. I can also teach you German, English, or Spanish if you'd like to improve your language skills.
At the same time, I’m excited to learn from you! Maybe you have special skills—whether it’s a new language, a creative talent, music, cooking a dish from your culture, or a unique perspective on life. I’m always curious about different ways of thinking, living, and growing. Hosting people from different backgrounds is a beautiful opportunity to broaden our horizons and create inspiring exchanges.Projects involving children
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.
Help
My ideal support would include childcare, light household tasks (such as laundry), walking our lovely dog Schnuffi, cooking, grocery shopping, and bringing/picking up Lia from school. Once you feel comfortable and familiar with everything, I’d appreciate you managing these tasks independently.
