Description
Hi, my name is Louis. I am a keen traveller with a strong work ethic and a genuine passion for personal growth. I am looking to continue my travelling journey while also deepening my spiritual path. I love spending time in nature, meeting new people, and exploring new places and ways of life.
I have over ten years of experience in landscape gardening, along with a wide range of handyman skills. I take pride in being reliable, hardworking, and respectful of the spaces and communities I work in. I am ideally hoping for longer-term stays, as I enjoy building meaningful connections and contributing more deeply, but I am also open to short-term opportunities when needed.

More details about your skills
Through my background in landscape gardening and sales representation, I have developed a wide range of transferable skills that are well suited to communal living and shared work environments.
From over a decade of experience in landscape gardening, I have gained strong practical abilities, including working with the land, maintaining outdoor spaces, using tools safely, and completing physically demanding tasks with care and consistency. This work has taught me patience, attention to detail, and respect for nature, as well as the importance of planning, problem-solving, and following through on tasks from start to finish. I am comfortable working independently or as part of a team, adapting to changing conditions, and taking responsibility for the quality of my work.
My experience as a sales representative has strengthened my communication and interpersonal skills. I am confident speaking with people from diverse backgrounds, listening actively, and understanding different needs and perspectives. This role required reliability, self-motivation, time management, and the ability to build trust and positive relationships—skills that are essential in a communal setting. It also helped me develop emotional awareness, conflict-resolution skills, and a respectful, solution-focused approach to collaboration.
Together, these experiences have shaped me into someone who is hardworking, adaptable, and community-minded. I am used to contributing my skills in practical ways while also supporting a positive group dynamic. I value cooperation, open communication, and shared responsibility, and I am motivated to contribute meaningfully to a commune through both physical work and conscious participation in community life.

What else ...
I have a wide range of hobbies and interests, many of which are rooted in spending time outdoors. I grew up surrounded by nature and have always loved being outside, especially going on walks in the Peak District, where I enjoy exploring the landscape and connecting with the natural environment. I am also passionate about climbing, which I find both physically challenging and mentally rewarding.
Alongside my love for the outdoors, I have grown up playing sports and staying active. More recently, I have taken up golf, which I enjoy for its balance of focus, patience, and skill. In my downtime, I enjoy playing card games with my family, as it allows me to relax and connect with others in a fun and meaningful way. I also absolutely love to cook and take great pleasure in preparing meals, experimenting with new recipes, and sharing food with others.
