Description
I'm currently a student studying sustainability in Austin, Texas, but I want to leave soon and go travel the world (again). When I graduate this summer of 2025, the world is my oyster.
I have been accepted into the NALCAP program as an auxilliar de inglés (conversation assistant) in Spain for the following 2025-2026 school year near Santa Pola, Alicante.
My love for traveling was ignited while I did my semester abroad in Madrid, Spain. My other loves include hot yoga, aerial silks, trail running, live music, cooking yummy meals, fruit, books and reading aloud, gardening, setting up a hammock, swimming, climbing, handstands / calisthenics, exploring outside, paddle boarding, tubing, backpacking, spontaneous dance parties, and the occasional cappuccino or copa de vino.
By night, I work as a hostess at a restaurant / absinthe bar and as a part-time babysitter. I love playing and laughing alongside children, and I have been working with them in some capacity since I was 11 at my local gymnastics recreation center. I work to earn some money to travel but also have the opportunity to meet new people and enjoy my time on this earth.
I consider myself to be patient, kind, generous, and compassionate. I like hearing people's stories and adventures and building my own collection of passions and interests.

I am very patient and calm, so I maintain my composure in high stress or situations with children. I can teach yoga and Spanish, but am not fluent or certified, just some things I am a student of as well. I like to fix tasty vegan food, sometimes vegetarian, and sometimes pescatarian. I am organized and enjoy making things clean and functional for others. I like telling stories and laughing a lot. I have a generally very open mind and like expanding it.

What else ...
I currently live in a co-op house in my university's nearby neighborhood. I am accustomed to the communal aspect of living that comes with sharing a space with roughly 110 other individuals. We cook together, clean together, and everyone has a role and plays their part. It is a very exciting way to live, and I am extremely lucky to be where I am.
