Description
Hi everyone! We're Lexi and Steve, a couple from the United States looking to explore the world, grow new skills, and meet wonderful new people! We met while working together as trip leaders for a wilderness adventure company, leading backpacking expeditions for high school students, and now plan to do some traveling together!
Between the two of us, we've spent the last several years working in environmental education, outdoor recreation, and youth programs. We've led backpacking, kayaking, canoeing, surfing, snorkeling, and skiing trips, taught environmental science through school gardens and nature programs, worked with children of all ages, and helped with gardening, conservation, and other hands-on outdoor projects. We both love being outside, staying active, and learning practical skills, so we're especially excited to learn more about gardening, farming, and sustainable living from our hosts.
We're hardworking, adaptable, and happy to jump in wherever we're needed, including gardening, childcare, cooking, building projects, animal care, or helping around the house. -

What else ...
- I love arts and crafts: I draw/sketch a lot, dabble in painting, and recently started trying linocut printmaking and ceramics.
- I'm a big board games fan - notable mentions go to Wingspan, Coup, Pandemic, and Codenames, but the list goes on.
- I really, really enjoy cooking and baking and would be happy to exchange some recipes :)
- I also play a bit of guitar, and although I'm no pro, I'd never say no to a good jam sesh!
- A goal of mine this year is to learn how to sail - so if you're open to teaching a rookie, I'd love to learn from you! -
