Hey!
We’re Anna and Leonie from Germany. We are two best friends who met while studying social work and music /movement pedagogy. Both of us are 23 years old. In June we will finish our bachelor degree and want to travel around Canada for two months before starting to work/starting a master’s degree.
We love travelling, getting to know new cultures and most importantly also meeting locals and staying at a place to really get to know how life is going in another country. Therefore Workaway is the perfect opportunity to see the world and work at a locals home.

More details about your skills
Since both of us study social work and have done several internships and jobs in the social field , we have a lot of experience with working with children, disabled people, elderly people and a lot more. Also Music and Dance education is a big part of our studies. Both of us play instruments such as piano, guitar, ukulele, drums and so on and are willing to share our knowledge :)
Both of us come from rural areas in Germany and enjoy being in nature, we like helping out in gardens but don’t have a profound knowledge but are very curious and eager to learn. Neither of us has bigger experience in building/craftsmanship but are willing to learn.
We love cooking together and enjoy cooking with vegetables and natural ingredients. We’re also very open to show you German recipes. Both of us did an international semester abroad so we also know what it’s like living in another country and can show you French food /food from Uganda, Africa.
Leonie loves animals and grew up with two cats. She also did horsebackriding for 12 years and helped out a lot on horse ranches.
Anna grew up in one of the biggest forests in Germany and loves going on hikes and being in nature.
