Hey!
Thank you so much for checking out my account.
I just graduated from the University of Maastricht and will continue to pursue my maters of law in September. In the meantime, I would love to work and volunteer in Ireland to meet new people and am hoping to leave a small positive impact wherever I go!
I'm a very easy-going and adaptive person and welcome new challenges. I first started travelling independently when I decided to spend a year at secondary school on Dublin at age 15 and have been restless ever since. While I love visiting Dublin every year to see my friends, I would welcome the opportunity to learn more about the countryside and life outside the big city and to pick up some Irish phrases along the way. When you meet me, the two things I will always have on me are my film camera and a book. While I especially enjoy reading (Irish) fiction, Claire Keegan and Sally Rooney of course being at the top of my bookshelf at all times, I like to try anything and everything.
During my free time, I enjoy lots of other activities - from hiking, swimming, yoga and (as of recently) running to cooking and listing to music. I especially enjoy Jim Croce and Taylor Swift. I also have a dog at home of whom I will definitely show you pictures if you'll let me, his name is Charlie, he is a 9 year old Golden Retriever and about as lazy as they come. I love being around dogs and animals in general, so any pets are always a plus for me (except for snakes, of which St Patrick thankfully took care for me, eh).

My approach to reading also translated to my practical experiences. I have lots of experience as a tutor, teaching children aged 6 to 14, and have worked at a kindergarten for about six months. I have also worked more physically demanding jobs, shelving goods at a store, and have done lots of admin jobs, working at a hospital research assistant and at a democracy NGO. I have spent some time living in Ireland, the Netherlands, Scotland, and, of course, Germany, so I am very comfortable in dynamic and international environments. Having studied law the past years, I also have a very good eye for details and a strong, self-motivated work ethic.

What else ...
My favourite way to spend time with my friends is playing cards over a coffee or a pint. While I love most games, that excludes Settlers of Catan. I refuse to play it, and when I'm overruled, I do the bank :-)
