My partner, Chris, and I will be arriving in Auckland in late September! We will be doing a Working Holiday Visa, but would love to get to know the Auckland area while we settle in and look for a car! I am a recently graduated geology student from the USA, and I'm really excited to explore all the amazing landscapes New Zealand has to offer, especially the proximity to glaciers and volcanoes! Chris and I both love trekking and being outside and working with our hands. We both have previous Workaway experience with far in and gardening, and are excited to learn more!

I studied geology and astrophysics, so am very good with numbers and science. I am also a kindergarten teacher and fluent in both English and Spanish. I love socializing and meeting new people, and have worked as a bartender and waitress. I am a very physically active person, and have lots of experience camping and backpacking, as well as planting trees and gardening.
