Hi, I am Kevin from Hong Kong. I am 18 years old and have a few months before attending university next year. I am an outdoor person and I love the nature, both hiking and camping in the mountains, freediving in the ocean, and exploring new places and sports. Sports wise, I swam for my school team and do bouldering pretty frequently. I love talking to new people and listening to people's stories. I am very curious about the different cultures and ways of living, and I don't want to waste the year when I am still young, so I want to see more of the world and people, gain new experiences, and discover more of myself as well in the process. I am physically fit and not scared of doing hard work, both physically and intellectually, and I love connecting with locals or other travelers. I also love animals both as a pet and wild ones i see in nature.

I am fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese, and Cantonese, intermediate in Spanish, and I have just started learning Egyptian Arabic and know enough to roast my friends in Hindi. I have graduated from an American high school, and I will be attending university, majoring in electronics engineering next year. I also have been active in volunteering in Hong Kong and in other countries like Nepal, where I helped in an NGO school, and Fiji, where I have helped in a pineapple farm.

More details about my language interests
I took Spanish in my high school for 3 years, and I went to Spain for a month for a summer school to improve my Spanish. I am very eager to speak to anyone to improve my Spanish to a more advanced level and learn more about Spanish and Hispanic culture. I also just started learning Masri and am still only a beginner. But I am very eager to improve it and passionate about learning more of the Arabic culture.

I have volunteered for various local NGOs, focusing on soap recycling and food banks in Hong Kong, as well as in Nepal, where I helped at a nonprofit school. Additionally, I helped build houses and roads with cement and worked at a pineapple farm in Fiji. I have also traveled with my family, school, and on my own.to different countries like the US, Australia, Fiji, various countries in Asia, and Europe.

I find a lot of joy and peace in nature, like hiking in the mountains and freediving in the ocean. I think that nature is where humans are supposed to live, and I try to do that and disconnect from society as often as possible. I believe that no one really knows how much time they have left, and we shouldn't wait to find happiness, but to pursue it when we have the chance to. So i try to spend as much time doing things i love, at least for now. I also love listening to strangers' stories and their opinions about life, and the satisfaction when we learn something new and improve. This is why I enjoy travelling, meeting new people, trying new skills, and exploring new places.
