Hola, my name is Mackenzie, but I prefer Kenzie. I am originally from Canada and worked in the US for 4 years. I quit my job a year and a half ago and have been traveling, mainly in latin america since. I’m motivated by the chance to connect with people and learn something new every day. Whether it’s picking up a new skill, helping out, or just sharing stories over a meal, those moments of connection are what truly inspire me.

I’m passionate about nature and sustainability. Spending so much time outdoors has taught me the importance of preserving our planet, and I love being part of projects that support sustainable living or give back to the community. I’m also working on improving my Spanish, as I believe language is a powerful way to deepen connections and understand different cultures.

I find happiness in the simple moments—watching sunsets, reaching the summit of a tough hike, sharing stories over a meal or coffee, or discovering something unexpected in a new place. I feel most alive when I’m immersed in nature, learning from others, and creating meaningful connections. My goal is to contribute wherever I can, while continuing to grow, learn, and give back.

While my professional background is in software engineering, I've spent the last year traveling and hiking, which has deepened my appreciation for hands-on work and being close to nature. I’ve also worked on projects involving basic landscaping, such as clearing land, planting, and maintaining gardens, which has given me practical experience in outdoor tasks.

These experiences have taught me the value of teamwork, adaptability, and rolling up my sleeves to get the job done. I’m eager to learn new skills and contribute wherever I can—whether it’s planting, harvesting, caring for animals, or assisting with construction projects.
