Workaway note: Please contact this host in Spanish

We are a place of permaculture in construction, strated 2 years ago in a field that we obtained thanks to an exchange of land for natural contruction with the owner of a biodinamic farm with cows and vegetable garden. We are welcoming volunteers and sharing permaculture since 8 years.
The farm is located near entrances to importantes mountain trails and beautiful places (Cajon del azul). In the weekends, you can go to wolk in those places. There is also a nice river near to the farm where it's possible to swim or enjoy the sun in the free times.

We work with natural building (made in wood, mude and with green woofs). We have an organic garden with a greenhouse and we also worked with alternative tecnologies. Cohabitation, sustainability and permaculture are the backbone of the place.
The future projects are to build a henhouse and a house. The place allows us the experimentation of new tecnics ans the exchange of knowledge.

Meals and activities are always conducted in groups, the exchange of energy and laughter is always welcome. We need help for several tasks of construction and gardening, always with good energy and balanced work.
Since the place is constructed with few ressources and that for now, we didn't reach sustainability, we ask to each volunteer a daily cost of #5 dollars# which includes all meals. In exchange, we give the best of us to share permaculture informationes.
To sleep, it's necessary to bring a tent and a sleeping bag since we don't have a space big enough to receive everybody. If you don't have a tent, there is a small cabin but it's not for more than 4 people. We have hot shower all the time and dried toilets. We also count with a dome that we use as a kitchen but also as a community space where there is music instruments (guitare, drums), and table games, books...

We are in Mallin Ahogado at 15 km from El Bolson, in Patagony. There is several way to come to the place:

    1. From Monday to Saturday, there is a bus called "La golondrina" that leave from the central place of El Bolson. At the turism office, you can ask for the timetable of the bus. You can say to the conductor that you want to go to Mariano's place. Where the bus let you off, you have to turn to the right in a street called "Los Nires". 30 meters from there, there is a wood door, it's here !

2.You can also come by hitchinking from El bolson. You ask for Mallin Ahogado or the "Museo de Piedras. When you see on your left the sawmill "Hielo Azul", you have to stop 500 meteres farther in a crossroad. There you turn right 3 ans walk 30 meters until you see the wood door in your right.

3.You can also take a taxi (called remiss) in El bolson and give the same indications than for hitchhicking.
