Hello! My name is Kate and I am originally from California, USA. My main profession is as a scuba diving instructor, although I have also previously worked in real estate and hospitality. I recently left my fast paced job in investment real estate to slow down and reconnect with my love of travel and the outdoors. I am currently taking some time to travel and explore before deciding where I want to settle next.

I have extensive travel experience and I particularly enjoy remote and tropical locations. I have previously lived and worked in Hawaii and the Virgin Islands. I love the ocean and beach and I am happiest when I am not too far from the water.

I am passionate about nature and I love spending time outdoors. I am very active and adventurous and love exploring new places. My hobbies include scuba diving, snorkeling, hiking and backpacking, skiing, yoga, reading, and cooking. I also love taking care of plants and gardening.

I am mature, responsible, reliable, and trustworthy. I am very respectful, tidy, organized, and concientious. I do not smoke and am very quiet and easy going. I like to keep spaces very clean and I am also quite handy.

I am a professional dive instructor and have a lot of experience teaching scuba diving and leading dives, as well as guiding snorkel and whale watching tours. I also have experience with boats. I love the ocean and am very comfortable on the water.

My previous experience as a dive instructor also included booking trips, customer service, and work with reservation systems. I am friendly and caring and great at working with people but I am also content working alone.

I am very organized and good at cleaning. I love the satisfaction of creating systems and organization in a space. I am also good with computers.

I love the outdoors and am passionate about plants and gardening. Most of my experience is with houseplants and orchids, although I love taking care of outdoor gardens as well.

I am generally pretty handy and am unafraid to try my hand at fixing things. I am a good cook and love trying new recipes. I am a quick learner and always open to try new things and will happily take on any task with a little instruction and direction!
