I’m Jonna, 24 years old, and currently studying psychology at an online university. In 2021 I started travelling… and honestly, I never really stopped. Along the way I’ve learned a lot - about different cultures, about people, and of course about myself. I’d describe myself as open-minded, loyal, self-motivated, and deeply empathetic.

What keeps me on the road is my love for connection. There’s something magical about arriving somewhere completely new and leaving with the feeling of home - created by the incredible people I meet. I’m definitely a “say yes” kind of person, but I also know my limits and I’m good at setting boundaries when needed.

As for experience: I’ve worked as a teacher in several schools around the world and have basic training in special needs education. For the last two years, I’ve mostly been traveling through house- and pet-sitting, which means I’ve gathered plenty of experience caring for all kinds of dogs, cats, fish - and even bearded dragons!
I also grew up in an old house my parents bought when I was born, so I’ve spent most of my life helping with random renovation projects.

When it comes to hobbies, I’m happiest near the sea. I love diving, and I recently fell in love with surfing (still very much a beginner tho). Growing up, I played basketball for eight years and even earned a coaching license.

I'm very good with children and love to teach. I worked as a teacher before and also as a basketball coach. Moreover I grew up with having a dog, cats, chicken and sheeps, so I can care also for animals.
I really like to learn new skills and languages.

I always dreamed about travelling. I love to explore new places, listen to foreign languages and meet new people. It's very exciting for me to learn as much as possible about the cultures of the places I visit. I'm ready for adventures that are worth to tell stories about.
