Hello, everyone :)

My name is João, I'm from Brazil, and I'm 30 years old. I have a degree in Civil Engineering.

***I hold an EU Passport (Italian citizenship)***

Although I have been working in civil engineering for the past six years, I have never stopped seeking new skills and experiences. I am also a guitarist, singer, songwriter, and woodcut artist. I also have had experiences with dancing, cooking, poetry, and even tattooing. :)

My favorite things in the world are music, literature, and traveling. I participated in two short-term exchange programs in Worthing, England, when I was 15 and 16 years old, and I have been privileged to travel to many countries in the Americas and Europe. :)

I love being exposed to new cultures and ways of thinking. I am a very open-minded, respectful, and curious person. I love helping other people, whether by teaching something I know or simply lending an extra hand. :)

Another passion of mine is language learning. I speak Portuguese, English, and Spanish, and I also know a bit of German and am currently learning French and Italian.

As I approach my thirties, I decided to start a journey to fulfill my biggest dream: to travel around the world. :)

I give private lessons in English and Portuguese online. At uni, I was a teaching assisteat for 1,5 years, teaching programming, differential equations, and channel hydraulics. I love helping people learn in a way that makes sense for them!

I’m a Civil Engineer with experience in budgeting and project management, which has helped me develop strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Recently, I’ve expanded my work experience through volunteer roles in customer service and hospitality, where I’ve had the opportunity to assist as a waiter and in guesthouses, providing support to guests and working as part of a team. I also have experience with gardening and housekeeping, ensuring spaces are well-maintained. I speak English, Portuguese, Spanish, and Italian, with basic knowledge of German and French, which helps me connect with people from different backgrounds.
