Hey!
We are looking for a helping hand for our family :): We are a German-Icelandic family with three children. My name is Janina and I work as a nursery school teacher :).
Snædís is eight years old, Snæþór will be seven in December and Snævar is one year old.
The older children speak both Icelandic and German. The little one is also being raised bilingually :).
My husband works in Reykjavík.
We live in Þorlákshöfn, a village 40 minutes by car from Reykjavík :).
It is also important to mention that I breed Norwegian Forest Cats and we currently have nine cats at home.

Wir sind auf der Suche nach einer helfenden Hand fuer unsere Familie :): Wir sind eine deutsch-islaendische Familie mit 3 Kindern. Ich heisse Janina und arbeite als Erzieherin im Kindergarten :).

Die Grossen sprechen sowohl isländisch als auch deutsch. Der Kleine wird auch zweisprachig erzogen :).
Mein Mann arbeitet in Reykjavík.
Wir wohnen in Þorlákshöfn - ein Dorf welches 40 Minuten mit dem Auto von Reykjavík entfernt ist :).
Wichtig zu erwähnen ist auch noch, dass ich norwegische Waldkatzen züchte und wir im Moment 9 Katzen zu Hause haben.

You will see beautiful nature here and experience a completely different way of life :). After a 9-week au pair stay, I was so enthusiastic about Iceland that I ended up emigrating there a year later.

Du wirst hier wunderschöne Natur sehen können und ein ganz anderes Leben erleben :). Ich selbst bin nach einem 9woechigen Au-Pair Aufenthalt so begeistert von Island gewesen, dass ich schlussendlich ein Jahr später ausgewandert bin.
