Hello! We’re João (from Portugal) and Ksenia (from Russia) — a friendly and reliable couple passionate about teaching, art, and cultural exchange.

We met through our shared love for travel and education and have since worked together in Vietnam, Türkiye, and Russia, teaching English and organizing creative workshops. We both love bringing energy, warmth, and creativity to every place we go — whether it’s a classroom, a hostel, or a local community project.

Our recent experiences include:

- 4 months as foreign English teachers in Vietnam, working with both children and adults.

- A long-term volunteering project in Türkiye, teaching English and leading cultural and creative workshops in schools, a youth center, and a disability center.

- Hosting English speaking clubs, organizing Erasmus+ trainings on leadership and sustainability, and assisting with community events.

Outside of teaching, we’ve both worked in hospitality — João as a bartender and catering staff for several years, and Ksenia as a hostess, waiter and cook in different restaurants and administrator in an immersive theatre. We’re comfortable in customer-facing environments and enjoy working in team-based, multicultural settings.

We also love sharing our artistic side:

- João is a musician (guitar, piano, bass, vocals, music production) with over a decade of experience in songwriting and performance.

- Ksenia has worked as an actress in Saint Petersburg and participated in several university theatre clubs. She’s also a passionate drawer and painter, and enjoys leading creative and art-focused activities.

We believe in learning through doing, and we’re happiest when we can combine education, creativity, and community. Whether teaching, helping in hostels, assisting with events, or contributing to local projects, we always aim to leave a positive and joyful mark.
