  • Description

Hola, I'm Juan, a 30-year-old adventurer hailing from Argentina. For the past 5 years, I've been on a mission to explore different places and immerse myself in diverse cultures. My journey started with a two-year stay in the stunning landscapes of New Zealand, and I've been enjoying the Aussie vibes in Australia for nearly 3 years now.
My volunteering journey has been quite the ride! I've been experiences on my hometown but also around the globe in places like Australia, Italy or London from building to helping in hostels with different tasks.
Beyond the volunteer gigs, I'm a laid-back individual who thrives on forming connections while I roam. I've got a soft spot for beachside living, where I can soak up the sun. Music is my escape, and I'm always up for a good tune. I'm a curious learner, an eager listener, and a keen teacher, so I'm all about sharing experiences and knowledge wherever I go.

Ciao, I'm Sara, a 32-year-old Italian expat who has called Prague, London, and Australia home for the past decade, where I not only worked in hospitality but also had the opportunity to volunteer in hostels. My passion for all things food-related knows no bounds, whether it's delving into the realms of nutrition, cooking up a delicious meal, or savoring every bite in the local markets and restaurants. Alongside my obsession for food, I'm deeply intrigued by natural medicines such as naturopathy and herbalism (I'm a certified Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist) as well as spiritual practices that nourish the mind and soul like yoga, meditation and Reiki. I've guided yoga classes in a couple volunteer programs and I'm currently studying a course online planning to go to India next year.
Living in London for many years has got me needing to connect with nature so much more, to explore new places and meet new interesting people and cultures. I'm so looking forward to immerse myself in new experiences! Volunteering presents an opportunity for me to not only share my skills and acquire new ones, but also to connect with like-minded individuals, locals and become an integral part of a supportive community where I can both contribute and learn.

Just a year ago, Sara and I crossed paths in bustling London. She was hustling between work and studies, and I was knee-deep in volunteering. It was one of those serendipitous meetings where sparks flew instantly. We just clicked.
Fast forward, Sara took the plunge and joined me in Australia, where I had already settled. Together, we've explored the Aussie wilderness, sharing our love for nature and the great outdoors.
Now, fueled by wanderlust and a desire for new experiences, we've decided to hit the road again. Our journey is about embracing the unknown, hand in hand, as we chase new dreams and create new memories together.

Here's to exploring the world one volunteer at a time and to the adventures yet to come! 🌍
