Hi, we're Anne and Michael! We are a Danish-American couple living in Copenhagen and in a small fishing village called Gilleleje. We've taken the month of January off from work to escape the northern winter, and are looking to fulfill a lifelong dream of visiting Chile.

I (Anne) am an experienced WorkAwayer, former au pair, language teacher, lifeguard, elderly care provider and farm kid, so I'm comfortable with kids, plants, animals, and manual labor. My partner Michael is an engineer through and through, passionate DIYer, and world class (in my opinion) pizza chef. He can do basic electricity and construction work.

In terms of activities, we enjoy anything outdoors - especially running, hiking, yoga, and water sports like scuba, swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. We're also very much interested in wine - a big reason we've decided to visit Chile!

Our goals with WorkAway are to open ourselves up to new cultures and experiences, practice languages, and to meet new friends!
