We are a couple who love to travel and experience new things. We both love nature and animals as well as some good old fashioned hard work.

Description

We are John and Zuzanna! A British/Polish couple currently living in Japan. We love animals and nature and are keen for any workaways centered around this. Zuzanna has a Bachelors and Masters degree in Veterinary Bioscience and Animal Nutrition respectively, and we have plenty of experience completing Housesits for a wide variety of animals. We are currently working in Nozawa Onsen and have some gaps in our calendar before our next work/commitments and would love to see more of this fabulous country in a unique way. We had a wealth of experience between us in the service industry so would definitely be able to help you with anything needed including Front desk, supervisor, Barista, waiter, and housekeeping roles. We really are up for anything. We will be heading to Australia around Sept2025.

Zuzanna has a Bachelor degree in Veterinary Bioscience and Masters degree in Animal Nutrition respectively so is more than qualified and enthusiastic to take care of almost any animal on the planet. John can give animals cuddles, do the brunt work and anything Zuzanna tells him to do.

We both have experience in most customer facing jobs available so if you run a business as a host there is a good chance we would be able to assist with that seamlessly without being trained too much regardless of the sector.

We are both impeccably clean and have held jobs that either require it or that it is simply what we're being paid for so cleaning and treating a hosts home as our own is what we're good at.

John genuinely loves a day of old fashioned hard work and manual labour, enjoys being in the garden, assisting with whatever project he can get stuck into and always keen to learn if there is something technical he's not experienced before.

What else ...

John loves pretty much all sports so will happily play, watch or talk to you about sports. He's competitive and this also applies to board games. We're both happy to try any new things but are also more than happy to curl up with a good book and have a quiet evening.
