Description

I'm happiest when I'm outdoors, active and surrounded by good people. I love running, hiking, exploring new places and generally saying yes to adventures that take me somewhere new.

For the past eight years I've been building and running my own business in London. I recently sold the company, which has given me the chance to slow down, travel and spend some time doing things that feel completely different from sitting behind a laptop!

I grew up in the countryside and have always loved animals and nature. I'm now really keen to spend more time around farms, plants and wildlife, and learn from people who live a little closer to nature.

I'm naturally curious, positive and sociable. I love meeting people from completely different backgrounds, learning new things and getting involved in whatever is going on.

The things that make me happiest are pretty simple: being outside, physical activity, animals, great conversations, laughing a lot and going to bed feeling like I've made the most of the day.

I originally trained as an engineer and worked in manufacturing, so I'm naturally practical, hands-on and enjoy figuring out how things work.

For the past eight years I've built and run my own consumer products business, which has taught me a huge range of skills including marketing, social media, e-commerce, product development and general problem solving. I'm always happy to help with websites, online businesses or creative projects too.

I absolutely love animals and grew up around them. When I was younger, I bred rare chickens and at one point had around 100 chickens at a time, so I'm very comfortable feeding, handling and caring for animals. I've also volunteered on farms three times before and really enjoyed the practical work and outdoor lifestyle.

I'm physically fit and very active, so I'm happy with manual work, getting dirty and spending long days outdoors. I'm also a native English speaker and happy to help anyone practise their English.

Most importantly, I'm keen to learn. I'd particularly love to develop more skills around farming, gardening, growing food, animal care and sustainable living.

Outside of work, I'm very active and love running, hiking and pretty much anything that gets me outdoors. I've run marathons and taken part in various endurance events, although I promise I can also walk at a normal speed.

I love travelling and meeting new people, particularly when I get to experience how people actually live rather than just ticking off tourist attractions. I'm very sociable and enjoy good conversations, shared meals and a few drinks around a table.

I'm naturally curious and always seem to be trying something new. My interests range from entrepreneurship and ridiculous product ideas to fitness, nature, animals and travel. I'm always up for a board game, an adventure or joining in with whatever is going on.

I'm currently at a new chapter in life after selling the business I spent eight years building. I'm excited to use the freedom to explore, learn some completely new skills and hopefully collect a few good stories along the way.
