Hi,
we're Ivana, Anežka, Nika and Alice - group of four friends from Prague, Czech Republic and we love to travel together. We have a great Workaway experience from last years when we volunteered in France, Hungary and Romania and all of the places gave us very unique memories. We especially enjoyed the sense of community and all the interesting people we've met. So after some pause we decided to give it a change this year again!
We would like to get to know you, your local area and help with your project. We can help with all kinds of manual tasks - gardening, cooking, animal care, general maintenance… We can offer some language practice as we all speak fluent English. We are all students of different fields (Environmental Studies and Sustainability, Anthropology, Landscape Architecture) and happy to share our knowledge of it as well.
During the past years of our studies and volunteering, we learned a lot about (un)sustainability of current western societies and we find a great value and purpose in exploring alternative ways of life. Therefore, we are particularly interested in e.g.: sustainable food systems, community supported agriculture, permaculture, economic localisation and self-sufficiency.
In our free time, we enjoy nature, hiking, music and art.
