Hey! here it's Riccardo, for friends "Ric" :) I'm a 30 years old guy from Cividale del Friuli, 1 hour far from Trieste, though my life these past years has been anything but settled.

After Covid I spent 5 years in the Canary Islands working remotely, then the world kept calling: travels, different cultures, people met along the way. For the past year I've had a base in Porto, Portugal, but every summer I come back to Friuli to see my family and recharge between the river, the sea, and Slovenia (my fav country by far in the world ahah) .

I'm sunny, creative, open minded person. I work in digital marketing with my own company and i have a project on Instagram named "Italianskipper" where I share my passion for sailing and video content, my project is to build a tourism boat excursion on the sea side near Trieste from next season 2027.

I'm not a city person even tho i lived for 1 year in London and 3 years in Venice.

To be honest I'm new on this platform, i knew it existed since my 20s where my ex girlfriend from brasil at the time traveled a lot and met so many cool and amazing people around the globe.

I hope i can do fun experiences, and share my experience and skills with community. I love a lot DIY work, agricolture, and anything around nature.

Studied digital marketing, so I mess around with videos and social media, nothing crazy but I get by. Have an IG page (italianskipper) where I post stuff about boats and sailing.

Grew up on a farm area, so fixing things has always just been normal for me. At 20 I spent a year doing maintenance at a hostel in London, plumbing, small repairs, whatever needed doing. Also like tinkering with engines when I get the chance.

I help manage a few Airbnb/Booking properties for other people, so I've picked up a bit of the hosting side too, dealing with guests, listings, that kind of thing.

Other than that: I like gardening, I'm into boats and anything nautical, and generally I just enjoy learning how stuff works and fixing what's broken.

Italian is my first language, and I also speak English and Spanish.

I've got a skipper license and love being out on the water, that's actually a big part of why I'm drawn to this area. Do Muay Thai when I can, love fishing, and I shoot on film cameras too, kind of a hobby within the hobby.

Been living the digital nomad life for years now, Canary Islands, Portugal, and a bunch of other places along the way, so I'm used to adapting fast and meeting new people. Pretty easygoing, up for trying new things, and always happy to grab a beer and chat about life, travel, whatever.
