Description
Hi there! We’re a couple from the UK currently moving to Australia and looking for a homestay where we can lend a hand, learn new skills, and enjoy life close to the ocean.
🐴 A bit about us
Me ( India ) – I’ve grown up around horses and spent years working in riding stables and with the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA), which I absolutely loved. I’m confident with animal care, mucking in with daily chores, and generally getting my hands dirty. Alongside that, I’ve been working as a commercial photographer for major brands back in the UK, so I’m always happy to help with creative projects, photography, or social media if that’s useful!
My partner ( Charlie ) – He’s a hands-on kind of guy. Professionally, he’s worked in finance and market research, but he’s also done all sorts of practical jobs, including being a postman. He’s got a great work ethic and loves being active, helping out wherever needed, and spending his free time surfing and exploring the outdoors.
🌞 What we’re looking for
We’d love to find a place where we can become part of the daily rhythm — whether that’s helping with animals, gardening, house projects, or general maintenance. We’re not party people and prefer quiet evenings, good food, and good company.
We’re looking for a stay of around 1–3 months, but we’re open to staying longer if we find somewhere that feels like home.
