  • Description

Hi everyone, my name is Ilaria Pagliara and I am currently attending a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology.
I have been interested in this field since my adolescence, and over the years I have had the opportunity to volunteer in different communities around the world. These experiences deeply shaped me and strengthened my feeling that my true vocation is to give my best to help others.
Through volunteering, I realized how important authentic connections are: not only with other people, but also with ourselves and with the surrounding nature. For this reason, some years ago I chose to dedicate part of my time to hiking, seeking new adventures and challenges, and traveling in groups.
I truly enjoy peaceful environments where I can feel safe, but that also offer stimulation, growth, and opportunities to step outside my comfort zone.
I am a kind, open-minded and respectful person, always curious to learn from others and from different ways of living.
    Let’s find a new adventure together 🌿

More details about my language interests
I am Italian, but I am studying my Bachelor’s degree in English because I would like to spend my life living and working in communities with people from different socio-cultural backgrounds. For this reason, I am very motivated to improve my fluency when speaking languages different from my native one. One of the ways I do this is by consciously pushing myself outside my comfort zone and engaging in projects that require communication in another language. I know that my speaking is not always perfect and that I can still make mistakes, but I see this as part of the learning process and as an opportunity to grow through real and meaningful interactions. I believe that openness, patience and mutual understanding are essential when people from different cultures meet, and I am always happy to learn and improve together with others.
