I am currently
At home
Description
I grew up in a very rural village in South West England and I spent most of my time as a kid outside and am hoping to rediscover this! I'm hoping I can find a workaway that involves physical work and being outside as much as possible. I'd love to learn more about small-scale farming, self-sufficiency, permaculture and woodworking. I love cooking, especially when using self-grown produce. I love animals and being around kids and would love if you had a dog :)
I am currently working a remote job and looking for to work in a hostel alongside this! I am really sociable and having been a guest at hostels around the world I would love to give back and help other travellers enjoy their time.Interests

I've spent a lot of time at home helping my parents with jobs around the garden: building sheds, mowing lawns, laying paths, building parterre gardens. I'm also working a gardening job over the summer doing similar tasks: log splitting, hedge trimming, land clearing etc. I've worked in warehouses so am very prepared for physically demanding work and long days whenever needed (and cold weather!). I'm a very confident cook and am happy to cook for others if/when needed, but I'm also keen to learn new recipes and dishes, especially from people of different cultures & backgrounds.
I've had a lot of experience in admin type jobs so am very good with IT, computers, WiFi etc. and am happy to help with anything in this regard and appreciate this is something not everyone has experience with.
I'm a very quick learner and a large part of my motivation for doing a workaway is to learn new skills away from the realms of a 'normal' workplace.Age

What else ...
I'm very sporty, having played rugby since I was a kid. Other than this, I have a keen interest in photography, and would love to spend my free time taking photos of wherever I end up working :)
