Description
My name is Hans Wynberg. I was born in the Netherlands, Groningen to be precise, 40 years ago. At the moment I'm traveling with my girlfriend and daughter, who is 3 years old. In my life I have travel a lot. We are traveling to Bali, Indonesia, this winter. When I travel I also try not to stretch myself with a zillion plans and destination. Rather I like to stick to smaller area and get to know it. Get to know the people, the environment and hopefully feel a little bit at home there.
I would describe myself as a flexible, fun loving and patient. Also I tend to dabble in many things, but I'm not a master in many. In the Netherlands I work mostly as a teacher in elementary schools, high schools and universities, but my passion in education lies especially in innovating the way we teach and teaching mindfully with a kind heart and high expectations.
Due to my nature of dabbling in many, I also acquired a lot of things i love to do... Cooking, making music, skiing, surfing, meditation, gardening, carpentry and construction are all things that i continue to practice. Some I'm more proficient in then others.
All my live I have lived together with others and I couldn't live any other way. At the moment I live together with my family in our house in the Netherlands. I love the feeling of community and connecting that can be created when you chose to live together in a space to share. The challenges that arise in this way of living together have always been very meaningful to me as a way to grow and learn together.
In a workaway I hope to encounter these thing I find important and meaningful. Meeting and connecting to people, while working and creating something together. Helping out and having fun!Interests

As state above I have acquired a few skills during my life. I'll start with my most developed ones. I have been a teacher for 12 years in the Netherlands teach especially elementary and high school kids, but also students. Also I'm developing ways to innovate and change teaching in a broad way! I'm also a very dedicated cook and you often find me in the kitchen learning new skills, ingredients and recipes. Since my childhood I was an avid music listener and since the age of 19 play guitar, sing and played the bass in a band. During my studies i also discover I love to build, construct and make... I have experience as a painter and in some construction and carpentry, although i would love to learn more!
In my garden and with children in elementary school I started to learn how to grow plants. It so lovely to grow and harvest vegetables, fruits and herbs and then made lovely meals with them!Age
