Hi! I'm 18 from Sydney and am new to workaway :)

I love slow travel by train/bus/ferry, accompanied by a good book. I'm planning to cross Indonesia like this in the middle of the year. As an Australian, I've always felt a connection to our neighbours, and have long been planning different routes across the country to get to experience it for myself.

I've joined Workaway because I really enjoy jumping at opportunities to meet new people and experience life in all parts of the world. I'm motivated by learning things about the world around me, particularly languages and culture. I've been privileged enough to travel in my teenage years and my favourite part of every trip has always been the unexpected moments of connection with people, even just in the street or a shop.

Sport is a massive part of my life and seeing the role that sport plays in communities worldwide brings me a lot of joy. I definitely try and incorporate going to sports games wherever I'm travelling.

I have experience both with hands-on physical tasks and teaching/management roles.

I have tutored subjects such as maths and english to mostly teenage students. I speak fluent German, having studied the language throughout high school.

I have been coaching sport since I was a younger teenager, and currently work as a touch football coach for a team of 13-14 year olds. I really enjoy planning out trainings and strategies for games.

I'm studying a commerce degree alongside continued German language study and consider myself proficient with the principles of business and mathematical concepts such as calculus.

My neighbour has run a shop selling plants for the past five years, and I have assisted him in garden work including sawing trees, moving large pots, and clearing out excess soil.

I'm a big eurovision fan (although am boycotting at the moment!!!). I have a younger brother, and we often go out together to different suburbs in sydney to try different cuisines from around the world.

I have some house sitting experience for extended family members.
