Hello, Hola, Hi :)

I am Hella from Berlin, Germany.

I have travelled to a couple of countries by myself. Mainly South East Asia, such as Thailand or Vietnam, but also Sri Lanka, Marocco or Portugal. Last year I stepped into Latin America for the first time and spent a month in Perú. This year I stayed with a local project supporting women in Guatemala. And I would love to explore Latin America further!

Also I really love Spanish, which is why I took on a course again to learn the language. My idea is to practice as much as possible while volunteering and travelling.

The ideal host would be a ngo, a community or ecological project, a family or a family business, maybe a farm stay or even a school. I am not seeking a party or hostel environment.

My profession is UX Design with a background of Marketing. I could help with that, if needed. But I am also happy to help with English, household, gardening, kitchen work, crafting, building, teaching etc. I would say I am open to any kind of work. In general I would prefer physical work over computer work and to be around people.

In my free time I do different sports, such as Muay Thai, pilates or dancing. When travelling I like to discover new surroundings, going for hikes or good food.

I would love to truly exchange language and culture.

Soy Hella de Berlin en Alemania.

He viajado unos países sola. Por ejemplo Thailandia, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Marruecos o Portugal. El año pasado viajé a Latinoamérica por primera vez y estuve en Perú por un mes. Este año estuve con un proyecto por mujeres en Guatemala. Y quiero explorar más!

También me gusta mucho el español, por eso he empezado un curso para aprenderlo. Mi idea es de practicar durante el trabajo y los viajes.

Creo qué un host ideal para mi es un ngo, un projecto de communidad o ecológico, una familia o una empresa de familia, quizás una finca o una escuela. No busco party o un hostel.

My profesión es diseñadora de experiencia de usuario (ux design) y también marketing. Puedo ayudar con eso, pero prefiero trabajo físico y con gente. Por ejemplo trabajo domestico, en la jardín o la cocina, creación y construcción o educación etc. También puedo ayudar con inglés. En general, puedo hacer trabajos diferentes.

En mi tiempo libre practico deportes diferentes, cómo boxeo de Thailandia, pilates o baile. Durante los viajes, me gusta explorar nuevos destinos, senderismo o salir a comer.

Me encanta cambiar la lengua y cultura.

(Ahora mi nivel de español es A2-B1. Quiero tomar un curso más antes del viaje.)
