Hi, I’m Bláithín, a 27 year old primary school teacher from Ireland currently based in New Zealand. I’m about to set off on a solo travel experience while my partner, Harry (from Wales) stays in NZ working in a school. I’m really excited to connect with new people and places along the way.

I’m a very friendly, easygoing person who genuinely enjoys getting stuck in and helping out wherever I can. I take pride in being reliable and hardworking, and I always try to leave a place better than I found it. Whether it’s helping with day to day tasks, working with people, or just bringing a positive attitude, I give everything my full effort.

I’ve been lucky to have some great Workaway experiences already, and my reviews reflect the kind of impact I aim to have. I value building genuine connections, learning new skills, and being part of a team. I’m open-minded, adaptable, and always keen to get involved in whatever is needed.

We are both teachers and have the ability and experience of working in high stress conditions. We have fantastic problem solving skills and the ability to think on the spot. we have both taught English language to a high level and have amazing people skills. Aside from all our teaching skills we have fantastic understanding of nature and culture. We both have geography degrees and experience in travelling and experiencing new cultures and traditions. This allows us to have an open mind when experiencing new challenges!
