Description
About Grace:
I find joy through adventures, making new friends, expressing creativity, climbing, vegan food, and the outdoors. I have done workaways on remote homesteads, guesthouses, and hostels. My experience at these stars includes cleaning rooms, painting murals, cooking for guests, garden work, and construction. At home, work in a kitchen, nanny, petsitting, and in landscaping. Now that I’m traveling in South America with my friend Julia, I am exited for new adventures and opportunities.
About Julia:
I find joy and purpose through creating meaningful connections, being in nature, and engaging in the creative process. I have experience teaching art and english classes, working in journalism, nannying, and working in food service. I enjoy creative projects and cooking, but I'm keen to learn more about gardening and sustainability.Interests

More details about your skills
Grace:
I am a fast-paced, efficient, hard worker who enjoys household projects and crafts. Odds and end jobs I have done include yard work, gardening, industrial/indoor/outdoor/mural painting, river clean up, pet/housesitting, and wood restoration. Through working in the service industry, both front and back-of-house, i have strengthened my problem-solving and customer service skills. I use my creativity as a nanny and making clothing as a sewer.
I served in Americorps for a year as a Nutrition Educator, teaching cooking classes through a food bank distribution site. During this time I live in an intentional community, where I was a bookkeeper for our house and managed community expenses. I also have a Bachelors degree in Accounting with a Certification in Sustainability.
Julia:
Through working in child care and hospitality, I've developed strong caregiving skills and a service-oriented disposition. As a nanny, I've learned how to care for young children, and through teaching English and art classes, I've found I love sharing information and teaching. I'm a creatively oriented person and love to craft and make art. I've also recently developed an interest in woodworking! I'm open to learning any new skills, especially if they involve learning new creative methods or getting outside.Age
