Description
After nearly 30 years of living in London, I'm craving a different way of life. I enjoy contributing and being part of a team effort, and I love learning new ideas, skills and ways of life.
One thing I really want to get from workaway is to develop my French. I have a tutor and I have made some progress in my time here but it can be a difficult language at times! I love language in general, I read often. I'd be very happy to help anyone learn English.

More details about your skills
I'm confident and enjoy talking to people. I worked for 11 years in hospitality (I'm 29 now), and it taught me how to engage with people and listen. It also means I am pretty good at helping out around the house!
I enjoy working hard. I've done some workaways now and learned the ropes of helping out on the farm and with general maintenance. I have helped tend animals, helped build a wall and many other things you might expect to do on a farm. It's a good feeling looking at a finished project and knowing I was a part of making it happen.
I really enjoy learning, talking and getting philosophical about any subject. Although I have no teaching experience, I'd be happy to talk to someone in English with patience and help them learn.

What else ...
I really enjoy exploring the countryside and hiking. I've even done a long distance solo hike in Scotland so I'm not afraid of the great outdoors! I would be very eager to join you on a trail.
I get around the city on a bicycle, so would preferably do the same wherever I stay.
I love socialising. I want to learn from other's experiences, hear their stories and share my own. The communal lifestyle of workaway is magical. Hearing other people's stories and experiencing new ways of life is always a blessing.
I'd love to learn more about farming. It's not a requirement, but it's a skill I'd like to slowly learn for the next chapters in my life, where I'm maybe hosting a workaway of my own one day.
