Hello there!
I‘m Gero from Germany and I absolutely love to meet new people, get to know other cultures and get in adventurous trips — simply: I adore travelling!
I just graduated in summer 2025 and I’m on my gap year right now.
That’s why I want to spend that time useful and gain as many new memories as I can! Therefore I would love to get in touch with locals and live their way of life for a little bit.
At home, I really like going on hikes, browse through flea markets, going in the art gallery and having interesting discussions with my friends.
I love the nature and how it changes during the year… As well as simply romanticising and noticing little things in everyday life.

I would love to learn French and Spanish, as they sound both beautiful. I learned both of them in school but sadly I forgot a lot… My dream is to do a backpacking trip through South America. That’s why speaking Spanish is on my bucket list!

I enjoy trying new things and learning through hands-on experiences.
Through my role as head of the student council at my school, I developed important skills such as taking responsibility for my actions, staying calm in stressful situations, and working independently. My advanced art class taught me to pay close attention to detail, work precisely, and experiment with different materials, including painting.
I am an open-minded person who believes in treating others the way I would like to be treated.
Regarding work experience, I have earned money by cleaning houses, doing logistics work in a small toy factory, and working on a kiwi orchard in New Zealand for several weeks. Physical labor and long working days are therefore no problem for me.
Through all of these experiences, I discovered that I truly enjoy stepping out of my comfort zone — because that’s the only way to grow as a person!

I absoluter love to play card or board games, have a good dinner with a glass of wine and just talk and laugh the hole night :)
My favorite game at the moment is probably Cabo!
