Hello!

My name is Georgie and I am currently on a gap year travelling South East Asia. At university I am studying philosophy and literature, so I love to read and love having conversations to learn about different peoples perspectives.

I am excited to learn about the values and lifestyles of other cultures and countries. I love spending time outdoors; kayaking, trekking, swimming. I am also so excited to try and learn about authentic Asian cuisine, I am a big foodie!

I have experience in retail, hospitality as well as reception work. In these positions I have been able to develop my skills and love for customer service. In my role a the retail store Macpac I really enjoyed connecting with individual customers and helping them find products for their upcoming travels.

In my role as a receptionist at PCYC I was able to develop my face to face, emailing and over the phone communication skills. In this role I managed bookings and payments of bookings with people of all ages.

I am also a competitive rower, so don't mind getting active and doing physical work!

Over my year of travelling I am really trying to experience and learn about as many new things as possible. I am really looking forward to putting myself out of my comfort zone and meeting new people around the world.
