Description
Hello! We are an American couple currently living in The Netherlands while we both pursue our Masters in Anthropology. Previously, we taught English in Galicia, Spain for a year and a half. Both 25 years old and love to be outdoors and surrounded by community. We are an active pair, hiking and biking every chance we can get. Rae loves to work with art mediums (in case you need painters) and Pat sews and embroiders. We both enjoy cooking, working with our hands, and would love to help out where we can!

Rae: I have experience working with non-profits, writing grants and proposals, and quantitative and qualitative research. I have volunteered at research conferences, local events and my local hospital's ICU unit. I taught subjects such as math, music, biology and english to students ages 11 to 45. Over the last half a year, I have been involved in a volunteer based sustainable community kitchen where I help cook for groups of 20 people. I grew up on my grandparents farm so I'm comfortable getting my hands dirty and taking care of animals!
Patrick: Through my education I have experience in media production for visual research and editorial writing. I taught English as a foreign language at a spanish elementary school from grades 1-6. I was the president of my universities's skate club and would organize and host social meets and events. Currently, I have been volunteering weekly as a cook at a local community kitchen in Leiden, Netherlands for last six months. I enjoy working with my hands and have experience in working with my father in carpentry. I also have taken up sewing in the past two years and would love use it to help repair something old or make something new.
We are very adaptable and are eager to learn new skills from new people! -
