Hello!
My name is Frida and I am a 23 year old girl from Sweden. Since graduation in 2021 I have worked and travelled with the aim to explore as much of the world as possible. In the autumn in 2025 I started studying Global Studies at the University of Gothenburg, and hope to learn even more about the world, its people and our way of living through this education. Though, I can not let go of the rush that travel brings and plan to keep travelling and volunteering to learn even more about culture and meeting new people from all over the world.
As a person I am very postitive and easy going, always hoping to bring smiles around me and to be as helpful as I may can. I have always loved both people and animals, and have been vegan since high school. My free time is mostly spent working out, searching for travels or catching quality time with loved ones. I also enjoy photography and rarely goes out without a camera.
In Sweden my main work has been as a teacher and student assistant for children aged 6-12 years. After my last time travelling and doing Workaway in 2023 I worked as a Team Leader at Volvo Cars, and built cars while motivating my team. Both experiences with people, in different ages, has motivated me and inspired me even more to always try and be the best version of myself. As a team leader and student assistent you really notice how much your own mood can affect others, which has inspired me even more to spread positivity.
I believe in everybodys right to education, freedom and equality regardless of who you are, and want to be a part of the work towards that.

Teaching languages is a way towards giving people the opportunity to understand and connectwith people from different parts of the world. While we were lucky enough to learn languages thorugh school since a young age, others may not. Therefore we are interested in developing languaging skills.

Our first language is swedish, but we have studied english in school for nine years and speak nearly fluent. Frida also has basic knowledge in french, and Lovisa in Spanish.
From Frida's work as a student and teacher assistant she has learnt skills in teaching, understanding people and children, and how to work together with different types of people. She has also worked in the service business at a cinema which have given abilities in guest service, selling and cooperation.
As a waitress Lovisa has developed an eye for service, guest welcoming and problem solving. She has learnt both how to work under pressure, but also what needs to be done during calmer hours.
We both socialize easy with others and love to be part of a community. As workers we strive to be flexible and manage any task that is given us. We are not scared of trying new things, nor are we against developing skills already taught. As quick learners we want to help with everything possible, either by ourselves or with others. We can follow instructions, but also take on own initiatives when needed.
