I am from Texas and have traveled within the United States but have never been across the Atlantic. I am a huge reader and love TV/film adaptations of my favorite stories. I am currently reading my way through my first manga series (A Sign of Affection) and am excited to watch the corresponding anime once I finish. I also enjoy fashion and love to browse thrift/antique stores for hours. My favorite place I have traveled thus far is Crested Butte, Colorado. I love traveling with friends and family and making new friends along the way :)

From the very beginning, there was something incredibly special about having her here. Sometimes you meet someone and immediately feel as though you have known them for years – and that is exactly how I felt with Rachel. The chemistry between us was … read more simply wonderful. She is such a warm, open-hearted, cheerful person, and she brought an enormous amount of positive energy into my home and into my everyday life.

Working with Rachel was an absolute joy. She is incredibly hardworking, reliable and conscientious, but what impressed me just as much was her creativity and initiative. She did not simply wait to be told what to do – she thought along with me, had ideas of her own, saw what needed to be done and was always ready to get involved. We divided the work between us so naturally, encouraged each other and achieved an incredible amount together. I honestly cannot remember ever working with someone in such an inspiring, creative and productive way.

Rachel motivated me enormously. Working together never felt heavy or exhausting because we made such a wonderful team. Even when there was a lot to do, there was always laughter, conversation and a feeling that we were accomplishing something together. I loved our shared ideas, our creativity and the energy that developed when we worked side by side.

But Rachel is much more than an excellent and hardworking helper. She is simply a beautiful human being. She almost always had a smile on her face, was cheerful and kind, and brought such a lovely atmosphere into the house. I genuinely enjoyed spending time with her, not only while we were working but also simply being together, talking and sharing everyday life.

And there is another very important seal of approval in my house: the cats loved her too! They clearly recognised very quickly what kind of person Rachel is. 😊

Rachel became much more than someone who was simply staying and helping here. She became part of the home while she was here. Her warmth, her humour, her positive spirit and her wonderful energy made her presence very special.

It is rare to meet someone with whom everything fits so naturally – on a human level as well as when working together. With Rachel, it did. I felt completely comfortable with her and trusted her, and it genuinely felt as though we had known each other for a very long time.

Rachel is a little ray of sunshine. She brings warmth, joy and positive energy wherever she goes, while at the same time being extremely responsible, hardworking and dependable.

I am deeply grateful for the time we spent together, for everything Rachel did, for all our ideas and projects, for the laughter and conversations, and simply for having had the chance to meet her.

Anyone who has the opportunity to welcome Rachel can consider themselves very lucky. I would welcome her back into my home anytime and with open arms. And there is one thing I especially want Rachel to know: she has become part of our family. Our door will always be open to her, and she will always be warmly welcomed back into our home – not as a guest, but as someone who belongs here. No matter how much time passes or where life takes her, there will always be a place for Rachel with us. We truly hope that this was not a goodbye, but simply a “see you again”. She can come back anytime, and we will welcome her with open arms, big smiles – and, of course, some very happy cats. ❤️

Thank you, dear Rachel, for everything. You were not only an enormous help – you made this time truly special. ❤️
