Description
I'm an outgoing, adventurous person, who adores learning languages and getting to know new cultures and lifestyles. I'm new to Workaway, but I've done Woofing before and I love connecting with new people from all around the world. My friends would describe me as open-minded, a good listener, fun and talkative. I like spending time outdoors, reading and traveling. I'm open to new experiences and challenges and I'm excited for what Workaway has to offer!

Spanish: BeginnerMore details about my language interests
I grew up bilingual (German and Russian), which definitely helped me learn different languages. I completed the Cambridge Certificate in English (C2), lived in France for 6 months and therefore speak French fluently. I also took university courses in English and French to deepen my knowledge. My goal for this year is to learn Spanish, and I really hope that a Workaway exchange can help me achieve this. For me, languages are not just a tool for communication, but rather a window to new cultures, deeper connections with people and something I can identify with. -

More details about your skills
In 2020, I completed training as a babysitter and now hold a babysitting certificate. I then worked as a babysitter for three years with children aged between 5 months and 12 years. For about 4 years, I have been tutoring students who need help with English and French. Since I enjoy learning languages myself, I take great pleasure in teaching them to others.
I also enjoy working with children in my free time. Since 2021, I have been volunteering at a youth camp, which not only includes the camp itself but also organises events for children throughout the year.
I enjoy working outdoors. During my school days, I helped out in the school garden and through Wwoofing I gained expertise in agriculture and working with animals, which I also really enjoyed.
I have a driving licence, have completed several first aid courses and, for the youth camp last year, took a course in hygiene so that I could help out in the kitchen (we cooked for 150 people). -

What else ...
I'm an active person, who loves to go hiking and walking and spending time outside. I also enjoy playing badminton, bouldering, working out with friends and riding the bike.
However, I'm also always down for a relaxed evening with board games and a BIG cup of tea (prefer tea over coffee to be honest). -
