  • Description

Hi! I’m Esther. I'm taking a year off university to learn, explore, and help wherever I can.
I’ve always been fascinated by people’s cultures and the stories behind them. Growing up, I had the chance to travel with my mother on her business trips, and those experiences sparked a curiosity in me that’s only grown stronger over the years. Now, I’m excited to travel more independently and in a more meaningful way — by connecting with hosts, learning from them, and giving back.
I’m a very artistic person, and creativity is a big part of how I see the world. Whether it’s drawing, painting, photography, or just finding beauty in everyday things, I love expressing myself and bringing a creative touch to whatever I do.
During my year off from university, I want to spend time discovering new places, meeting people from different backgrounds, and contributing however I can. I’m open-minded, easygoing, and always eager to learn something new. Helping out—whether with everyday tasks, creative projects, or something completely new—is something I genuinely enjoy.

  • More details about your skills

I’ve picked up a pretty wide mix of skills over the years, which helps me adapt easily to different environments. I’ve worked at events doing things like guest check-ins, coordinating volunteers, and helping with setup and teardown. I’m also very creative—I’ve styled a music video, edited videos for events, and managed social media for a fashion collective. I even created my own art course curriculum, which taught me a lot about planning and guiding creative projects.

I’ve spent several summers working at camps, where I cooked in the kitchen, supervised campers, ran activities, and handled anything from cleaning to wood cutting. My background in professional dance has also given me a strong work ethic, discipline, and attention to detail. I’ve volunteered at community events too, like being a vendor at a Christmas market to raise money for an orphanage .

Overall, I’m reliable, hardworking, creative, and genuinely happy to help wherever I’m needed.
