Hello, I plan on visiting a friend in India this summer and I'd like to do some volunteer work there, preferably in the north.

Hi,
my name is Esther and I'm a student living in Germany.
I'm open and curious, rather calm, and like to laugh.
I love getting to know other cultures and to learn new languages. I'm interested in art and food and the history of a place.
My hobbies are photography, drawing and reading. And of course, travelling:)
Also I love animals, poetry and hiking.

After finishing school I've been to Thailand for half a year with a cultural exchange program. I stayed with a host family there and worked as a teaching assistant (for the subjects English and German) at a local school. This experience was indeed one of the most precious of my life. I got to know other people's way of living, and in the process could also better understand my own culture.

Since then I've travelled to some other countries, and also went for work and travel to New Zealand together with a friend. We did farm and garden work there and enjoyed the beautiful nature.

I speak German, English, German Sign Language, some French, a little Thai and want to learn Hindi.

I'm very interested in learning a new language (or perfecting the ones I know). I also love learning a new alphabet (f.e. Thai, Hindi). In return I could offer teaching German (as a native speaker) or English.

My experiences: I assisted teaching german as well as english

I work in a school know as an interpreter. As a student I've worked several mini jobs in a restaurant (and a cinema). In New Zealand I worked on several farms with (garden/house) chores/ helped with the gardening.

Furthermore I'm creative and adaptable:)
