Hi! My name is Diane, and I recently graduated from high school in Germany. Before starting university, I would like to travel, gain new experiences, and contribute to meaningful projects through Workaway.

I am an optimistic person who enjoys seeing other people happy. I love spending time with others, sharing experiences, having good conversations, and laughing together. Meeting new people and building genuine connections is something I truly enjoy.

In my free time, I like doing sports, spending time outdoors, and being in nature. I also love animals and enjoy working with them.

I am open-minded, curious, and always ready for new challenges. One of the things I enjoy most about travelling is learning about different cultures, traditions, and ways of life. I also love sharing my own experiences and background with others.

Languages are another big interest of mine. I speak German, English, French, and Dutch, and I am currently learning Spanish. Being able to communicate with people from different backgrounds is something I really value.

I currently live in Bavaria, Germany, but I have an international background. My parents come from France and the Netherlands, so I have family in both countries and grew up with influences from different cultures.

I am excited to meet people from around the world, contribute to their projects, learn new skills, and create unforgettable memories together.

More details about my language interests
I am fluent in German, English, French, and Dutch, and I really enjoy using and sharing my language skills with others in everyday conversations. Communication across different languages is something I feel comfortable with and enjoy a lot. I have a strong interest in languages in general and enjoy learning about how people communicate in different cultures. My main focus right now is Spanish. I have been learning it for four years using an online app, but I now want to improve it in a real-life environment in Spain and become more confident in speaking it.

I am good at communicating and enjoy working with people. I am open, friendly, and comfortable interacting in different social situations, whether in a team or with guests.

I can cook and bake and feel confident helping in the kitchen, preparing meals, and supporting daily food-related tasks.

I also have experience with animals. I have my own dog and have previously looked after cats for several weeks, so I am used to being responsible for pets and their daily needs.

In addition, I can handle general household tasks such as cleaning, organizing, laundry, and keeping shared spaces in order.

I am a fast and motivated learner, and I enjoy taking on new tasks and adapting quickly to new environments and routines. I am especially interested in learning practical, hands-on skills and manual work, and I am very motivated to develop abilities in crafts and similar hands-on activities.

In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis and going to the gym. Staying active and disciplined is an important part of my lifestyle.

When I was 16, I spent a year abroad in the Netherlands, which helped me become more independent, adaptable, and open to new environments.

I have recently finished high school and I am now preparing for the next step of my academic path. I will start studying Business Administration (BWL) at LMU Munich, where I am particularly interested in economics, sustainable management, and business consulting.

In the future, I would like to build a career in the business sector, ideally in consulting or sustainability-related fields.
